Scaffold and soffit hoardings are different to free-standing hoardings in that we fix a timber framework to the existing scaffolding at any height giving large sites maximum coverage and protection.
Like free-standing hoardings it still provides total privacy, safety and security for your workers and the general public. The minimum height recommended is 2.4 metres, making it difficult to climb and still offers a visual barricade.
Scaffold hoarding allow soffits to be fixed to the underside of the scaffold structure to protect passers by that walk underneath, from any falling debris and to protect them from the works above. Lighting can be installed to illuminate the area and/or we can build the structure with vision panels or windows
We can advise the scaffolders on the best way to set their tubes to avoid additional timbers being required, for example, all sways should be ket to the rear or inside all standard tubes for a smooth uninterupted fitment.
As with all of our hoardings, we:
• perform a full site survey
• paint the hoarding to your required colours and finish
• provide a full set of drawings
• we can work to scaffolders structural drawings and wind loads
• typically we install 18mm ply to all upright sections with 9-12mm for all soffits and gantry areas
• graphic panels can be designed and fitted depending on your requirements
